I'm calling my afternoon in Portland 3.5 miles, since it was a mile and a half just to get to the restaurant and then back to my car. And I walked a lot before that.
Walked four miles yesterday around the lake.
Walked 2 miles today around part of the lake.
I gotta say - walking outside is a (very, very) nice break from the treadmill. But I still won't do it at night (in case you talk to my mom and she's still worried about that). I'm not as clueless as my family sometimes thinks I am.

I set out at the beginning of the year hoping to accomplish a thousand miles of walking/running this year. I'm now aiming for 500. And I'll do it.
